Drifting Home
During my first three months in Germany, I moved four times. Without any friends, without a solid plan, without a job, it was difficult to find a suitable place to stay. Even over a year later, I still haven’t been able to commit to a long-term lease, because I couldn’t predict even myself where I would be next year. Until I left my hometown, “home” was always a place that steadfastly waited for me. But now it’s different. “Home” for me has become something constantly moving and drifting. I am still drifting along with my home. This book is a drifting record of the past year.
